Solid State Drive (SSD)

As soon as the price goes down to an acceptable level I'm going to buy a SSD for my laptop and install Ubuntu on it! Looking at komplett.no the cheapest drive I can find at komplett.no is "Intel® X25-V SSD 40GB 2,5 In" for 995 NOK

Nightingale

"So here we are, Songbird is no more supporting Linux platform, so we decided to create our own version, supporting Linux first, but also Windows and Mac OS X later…
We had a long debate for the name of our project, and it’s now chosen : Nightingale."

Ardour

Testing Ardour!

"Ardour is professional hard-disc recording for MacOSX and Linux - meets all of you studio requirements. Ardour packs features such as: multi-channel recording, non-linear and non-destructive editing, mixer functionality and uses time code to sync to other devices. It also supports the LADSPA plug-ins for all kind of effects."

And Jack is up and running, maybe I now actually can use the MIDI-keyboard I'm borrowing!
